AI & Automated Communications Notice

Plain English: Some of Auttiv's help — like the chat assistant and certain messages — is generated automatically with AI. It's a helpful starting point, not professional advice, and it can be wrong. Always confirm price, availability, and any deal details directly with the dealer. Don't type sensitive information (like card or Social Security numbers) into the chat.

1. Where we use AI

Auttiv uses artificial intelligence to make the platform easier to use. This may include:

  • The on-site chat assistant ("Concierge"), which can answer questions and suggest vehicles using AI-generated responses;
  • Drafting help for sellers (for example, suggested replies or marketing copy), which a person reviews and sends;
  • Search, ranking, and informational tools such as estimated values or a "Deal Score," which are automated estimates.

AI-assisted content is labeled or reasonably apparent in context. A human is not reviewing every automated response in real time.

2. What AI is — and is not

AI output is informational only. It is not professional, legal, financial, tax, or appraisal advice, and it is not a guarantee. Estimates such as values, payments, or a Deal Score are general calculations that may not reflect a specific vehicle's true condition, history, or market. AI can produce inaccurate or incomplete information. Before relying on anything, verify it directly with the dealer or seller. See also the disclaimer in our Terms of Service (§5).

3. Don't share sensitive information with the assistant

Please do not enter payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security or government ID numbers, passwords, or other sensitive personal information into the chat assistant. To complete any transaction, deal directly with the dealer through their normal, secure process. How we handle the information you do provide is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Automated messages (SMS, email, WhatsApp)

If you opt in, Auttiv or a dealer using Auttiv may send you automated messages — including text messages — about vehicles, your requests, or your account. Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, and consent to automated messages is not a condition of any purchase. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. 5. How automated decisions affect you

Automated tools on Auttiv (such as ranking, matching, or scoring) help organize listings and surface relevant vehicles. They do not make legally or similarly significant decisions about you on their own — a vehicle purchase is always negotiated and completed between you and the dealer or seller, off-platform. Where applicable law gives you rights regarding automated processing, contact us at privacy@auttiv.com.

6. Your choices

  • Talk to a human: you can always contact a dealer directly instead of using the assistant.
  • Opt out of marketing messages: reply STOP to texts or use the unsubscribe link in emails.
  • Privacy rights: exercise data rights as described in our Privacy Policy and Do Not Sell or Share page.

7. Changes

As our AI features evolve, we may update this notice. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change.
