Marketplace Lister Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what the Auttiv Marketplace Lister Chrome extension does and does not do with your data. It applies only to the Chrome extension. For the privacy policy of the broader Auttiv platform (auttiv.com), see Auttiv Privacy Policy.

The extension helps a car dealer post their own Auttiv inventory to Facebook Marketplace by auto-filling the "Create vehicle listing" form. It is a productivity tool — it fills the form you would otherwise fill by hand, on your own logged-in Facebook session. It does not log in for you, scrape other people's data, or run in the background.

1. What the extension accesses

• Your dealer ID. The Auttiv dealer identifier you paste (or connect) in the extension popup, stored locally in Chrome extension storage. Used to fetch your own postable inventory.
• Your postable inventory from Auttiv. Title, year, make, model, trim, price, mileage, color, condition, description, and photo URLs for the vehicles in your own Auttiv account that are ready to post.
• The Facebook Marketplace "create vehicle" form. Only on facebook.com/marketplace/*, and only to fill the form fields (type, year, make, model, mileage, price, body style, condition, colors, description) and upload the vehicle photos. It reads the form's field labels to know where to type.

2. What the extension does NOT access

• Your Facebook account, password, friends, messages, or any Facebook data other than the public "create listing" form you opened yourself.
• Any tab other than the Facebook Marketplace create page it opens for you.
• Your browsing history, bookmarks, autofill data, downloads, or any other Chrome data.
• Your camera, microphone, location, or any device sensors.
• Any other person's listings, inventory, or personal data.

3. Where data goes

The extension communicates only with:

• lywlurmaxbdokqmkfuuj.supabase.co and auttiv.com — to fetch your own postable inventory and proxy your own vehicle photos, over encrypted HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
• facebook.com — only the create-listing page you opened, to fill the form locally in your browser.

No data is sent to any third party, no analytics provider, no advertising network, and no LLM API. There are no third-party scripts loaded inside the extension. Your vehicle data never leaves your own Auttiv account and your own Facebook session.

4. Anti-spam / responsible use

The extension enforces conservative posting limits (a maximum of 10 listings per day, with 5–10 minute spacing between posts) to keep your Facebook account in good standing. It only posts vehicles that have real photos and a finance-word-free description. It never promises "unlimited" posting.

5. Retention

• The extension's local storage (dealer ID, posting queue, count of posts today) persists until you uninstall the extension or clear it from the popup.
• Your vehicle data persists in your Auttiv account until you delete it there.

6. Your rights

• Uninstall the extension from chrome://extensions → removes all extension data from your browser.
• Clear the dealer ID in the popup settings → stops it from loading any inventory.
• Request a full data export or account deletion by emailing hola@auttiv.com. We respond within 5 business days.

7. Permissions explained

• storage — Save your dealer ID, posting queue, and daily count locally.
• tabs — Open the Facebook Marketplace create page for the next vehicle.
• scripting — Run the form-filling code on that Facebook page.
• alarms — Reset the daily counter and enforce the spacing timer.
• host_permissions — facebook.com (to fill the form), auttiv.com + supabase.co (to fetch your inventory and photos), and the dealer photo CDNs (to download your own vehicle images for upload).

8. Not affiliated with Facebook

Auttiv is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Facebook. "Facebook" and "Facebook Marketplace" are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. The extension simply automates the data entry you would do yourself.

9. Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we will publish a new version with an updated "Last updated" date at the top.
