This privacy policy explains what the Auttiv TikTok Secretary Chrome extension does and does not do with your data. It applies only to the Chrome extension. For the privacy policy of the broader Auttiv platform (auttiv.com), see Auttiv Privacy Policy.
The extension helps a car seller reply to public comments AND direct messages on their own TikTok account with an AI-drafted response in their own voice — a productivity tool that reads comments and DMs sent to you, on your own logged-in TikTok session, and drafts a reply you approve (or, if you turn it on, sends automatically within safe rate limits, always inviting the buyer to continue on WhatsApp).
tiktok.com, and only comment text, author name, and the video title of videos posted by the account you are logged into — read directly in your browser, never scraped from other accounts.tiktok.com/messages and tiktok.com/business-suite/messages, and only the newest incoming message in a conversation, to draft (and, if you enable it, send) a reply. It only opens conversations with a new message from the other person — never ones you already answered. The extension communicates only with:
lywlurmaxbdokqmkfuuj.supabase.co (Auttiv's backend) — sends the comment or message text so an AI can draft a reply, over encrypted HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).tiktok.com — only the video and message pages you have open, to read comments/DMs and, if you approve (or enable auto mode), post the reply. No data is sold to any third party, no advertising network, and no data is used to train third-party models beyond drafting your reply. Your comment data is not shared with any other Auttiv seller.
The extension starts in manual mode: every AI-drafted reply shows an approval banner before anything is posted. If you turn on auto mode, it posts with human-like pacing (8–20 seconds between replies) and a cap of 6 replies per hour, to avoid looking or behaving like spam. It never quotes a price or negotiates in public comments — pricing questions are always deflected to a direct message.
chrome://extensions → removes all extension data from your browser.storage — Save your seller ID, pairing key, activity log, and which comments have already been replied to, locally.host_permissions — tiktok.com (to read comments and post replies on your own videos) and supabase.co (Auttiv's backend, to draft the reply text).externally_connectable — lets auttiv.com automatically hand the extension your seller ID and pairing key when you install it while logged in, so you never type a code by hand.Auttiv is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok Inc. or ByteDance Ltd. "TikTok" is a trademark of ByteDance Ltd. The extension simply automates the reply you would type yourself, on your own account.
If we materially change this policy, we will publish a new version with an updated "Last updated" date at the top.
